Maeve Wall Rack
The Maeve Wall Rack was made for people who notice details and want a room to feel considered. The Nordic silhouette keeps the form simple, with solid oak wood doing the work. It suits living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and dining rooms without asking the rest of the room to change around it.
What it gets right: sleek & minimal design, durable craftsmanship and functional storage. Scandinavian-inspired form that complements any décor. It's made from premium oak wood for lasting strength and beauty. It features 4 or 5 rounded pegs ideal for coats, hats, scarves, and accessories. Smooth, matte surface that enhances the wood’s grain and warmth. Wipe it down with a soft dry cloth now and then and the finish stays as it arrived. Nothing about the design dates quickly, which is the whole point of buying once. It reads as considered in a small flat and still holds its own in an open-plan space.
Installation is wall mounted (hardware included). Dimensions are 50 × 12.5 cm. Available in clear wood grain. The proportions were chosen for normal ceiling heights rather than double-height atriums. If you are furnishing a room in stages, this is a low-risk first decision to make. The Nordic styling is deliberately quiet, so the piece survives a change of sofa. Shipped as part of the Estate wall racks range.

Solid oak, all the way through
The grain runs through the piece rather than across a surface. It is the difference you notice in year five, not year one.
Storage that does not look like storage
The Nordic outline keeps it reading as part of the room, so a wall gains function without gaining clutter.
Made to be seen
No brackets, no exposed fixings, nothing to apologise for. That is why estate treats it as furniture rather than hardware.
Built for the end of the day.
A low seat, a deep back, and a frame that does not creak in year ten. It is made the slow way, by a workshop that has been shaping this profile for decades, in solid timber and a weave dense enough to hold its shape. Nothing about it asks for attention. It simply becomes the chair everyone goes to first.
A room changes how you live in it, not only how it looks

Interior work
We plan rooms end to end, from the floor up, in materials chosen to age well.
Authentic design
Original pieces from workshops we know, chosen for how they are made and how long they last.
Custom additions
Built to your dimensions when the standard piece does not fit the room.
Comfort that does not announce itself.
The proportions are worked out in the workshop, not on a screen. Seat height set for a long evening rather than a short photograph. A back that supports where you actually lean. Filling that recovers overnight instead of flattening by spring. Upholstery cut on the grain so the weave stays true through years of use. It is the piece you stop noticing, because it is always right.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is it really solid oak?
Is it really solid oak?
Yes, solid oak rather than a veneer over board. The weight in the hand is the first thing that gives it away.
What can it hold?
What can it hold?
Everyday things you want within reach rather than out of sight, from keys and post to small folded items.
Are the fixings visible?
Are the fixings visible?
No. The rack is designed to mount cleanly so the wood is the only thing on show.
Which rooms suit it?
Which rooms suit it?
Hallways and bedrooms most of all, though it works in a living room or a kitchen just as easily.
How do I care for the oak?
How do I care for the oak?
A soft dry cloth, and keep it out of prolonged direct sun so the tone stays even.
